The Company is headed by the Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Ashok Chandra. He is a Stephanite from Delhi University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. His rich, wide and varied experience of three decades in Gas Manufacturing & Medical Engineering has enabled him to spearhead the business in the Healthcare Industry. The day to day affairs of the Company are managed by Mr.Ashok Chandra, along with a team of dynamic, highly experienced and qualified professionals from various disciplines.

His untiring efforts towards development and manufacturing of a wide range of medical products has not only resulted in quality products but has also helped in making MGI (India) the leading operation theatre manufacturer and installation company in India. Previously, he was the Managing Director of Superior Air Products Ltd, which was one of the largest gas manufacturing companies in northern India and was looking after the day today affairs of the company. He was also the Promoter Director of Honeywell Dace (India) Ltd. from 1992 to 2001- 02. Presently, he is also the director of Meta Dor Technologies Pvt. Ltd, a company engaged in the manufacturing of Hermetically Sealing Doors in collaboration with a foreign company.

Vidur is an M.B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University, U.S.A, where he specialised in Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurship and Business Strategy. He completed his BBA from Amity Business School and is richer with experience after having worked with Ernst & Young in India for 3 years. He joined the group as Director in May 2006 and controls the day to day function of the entity.

Mr. Mitter is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience. He is a Director (Finance) of MGF (India) Ltd., a leading Financing Company. He is also a Director of a few of their group companies.

A graduate from Delhi University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, Mr. Puri is heading and controlling the Sales & Marketing Department. He has previously worked with the Electronic Development Laboratory, New Delhi, a company involved in the design, development, manufacture and marketing of a wide range of Electronic Test & Measuring Instruments like D.C.Power Supplies, Inverters, Uninterrupted Power Systems, etc. He also floated his own company which represented multinational companies for World Bank funded projects in the field of Health, Chemical Analysis, Biotechnology, Office Automation and Application Software. He is now the head of Sales and Marketing at MGI (India).

Dr. Parul Desai, who has joined MGI recently as Head of National Marketing, is taking care of sales, promotion and distribution management. She is a M.Sc., Ph.D. with a Diploma in Business Management. Dr. Desai has about 21 years of experience in various fields of the healthcare industry such as diagnostics, medical equipments and surgical instruments. Her area of operation till now has involved recruiting and managing the sales team, imparting training, providing customer-services, sourcing new products, setting up and managing a distribution network, etc.

Himanshu is a Company Secretary, Cost Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor (Institute of Internal Auditors, U.S.A.). He has been in the financial services and consulting industry and has combined experience of over 7 years in handling transaction advisory assignments, accounting and risk management, internal audits, process reviews and has had industry experience as well in the beginning of his professional career. He has worked extensively on major consulting assignments with transaction advisory arms of Ambit-RSM (Axis Risk Consulting Services), BMR Advisors and Mayur Batra and Company, Chartered Accountants covering various industries. The Company has gained from his contribution in matters like private equity financing, compliances, cost management, financial issues and establishing inter controls.

Mr. Lal is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant and expert on Corporate Accountancy and Taxation matters, with over 35 years experience. The Company gains immensely from his perspective on matters of financial planning and control.
